Have huge headache, so no proper post tonight but the pic speaks for itself anyway :)

Day 9: Sweet chilli, soy and ginger chicken stirfry

This is my super awesome dinner tonight! Plus some noodles mixed in, but this was my fave pic. Love how the steam is all up in my grille hehe.

I love chicken stirfries and make them on a pretty regular basis. The sauce/marinade used in this one is by Kikkoman and is one of the best I have found. It's sweet, but not toooo much and has a slight chilli kick which is just how I like it.

This is the last meal I have before starting the Lemon Detox Diet for a few days. My body just needs a break from complex foods and I want to do it to kickstart my new weightloss plan. I've been doing a lot more exercise than I used to, but I still need that motivational kick up the bum!

Day 8: I heart Skype!!

I got to chat to my dear friend Damo on Skype today!!! Seriously, best day ever! We chatted for nearly 2 hours and after dealing with a really shitty friend, it was so comforting to talk to someone who has always been a great friend to me. D challenges me and supports me and is always there when I need him.  I have missed having him around soooo much, but Skype is going to help ease that a bit! Hooray!! Talking to D today felt like I had just spoken to him yesterday :)
Big big smiles today!!!

Day 7: A mixed day

So I had been thinking all day at work about how I was going to write a really lovely post about a friend whose mother is currently being treated for cancer. It was Daffodil Day yesterday in Australia and I got these gorgeous flowers in the morning:

However due to some other events during the day, I found it hard to write what I had intended. I still love the pics so am showing it anyway, but have another fab pic from yesterday that I can talk about more happily.

I recently leant my copy of LA Candy to the gorgeous Huggins from Bella and she sent it back to me with a very appropriate candy heart lollipop! So sweet of her! The lollipop is raspberry and tastes delicious!

This book has been from Sydney, to Chicago, to Melbourne and I am letting another friend from Brissie borrow it when I go up in a couple weeks! It's going to be well-travelled and well-read! I love being able to share things that I love with other people: )

Day 4: My desk

This is my desk at work for the next couple weeks while I am filling in for one of the girls who is on annual leave.

It's not even my desk and already there is a pile of junk on it that will need to be removed before she gets back haha. I am well known for always having a bunch of cool-looking, relatively-useless office supplies on my desk.

Things that can be seen on my desk include:
  • pink post its
  • To Do List book
  • notebook
  • pink peg clip things
  • pink paper clip holder that has a little door that opens on the front
  • Oroton glasses (love them!)
  • random pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors, etc
  • mug
  • clock
  • fan
  • phone
  • headphones
  • sign here stickers
  • little money box for loose change
  • hairband
  • computer
And that's the desk when it's clean!! Wait until I move to my permanent desk. Eeek!

Day 3: My Nailpolish Love

Sorry the image isn't the best quality but my camera is shite. I'm in the process of trying to choose a new one (so many decisions) so hopefully there will be some good quality photos very soon.

I love nailpolish and it's very very rare that my fingers and toes aren't painted. I like all colours from soft nudes, to crazy brights, to dark hues. And today is a dark hue that I have fallen in love with - Essie's Over The Top which is a shimmery gun metal grey. Sooo pretty and such a perfect colour for winter. Shame that things are starting to heat up here in Sydney and my dark colours need to be put away soon. I'm a firm believer in brights for summer, dark for winter.

Day 2: Random Fug!

A Croc!!In somebody's front garden! Definitely random fug.

Fleur and I did a big walk today from Wollstonecraft to Harris Farm at Cammeray and then back again. Harris Farm have the best fruit and veg ever and are much cheaper than the crappy Woolworths at Crows Nest. Seriously I bought 4 x apples, 4 x oranges, 8 x lemons, 1 x cauliflower, 4 x zucchini, 2 x capsicum, 1 x medium broccoli head, 8 x carrots, 5 x onions and 3 x tomatoes for a grand total of $15!!! Plus, they actually last more than 2 days in the fridge which is more than can be said for Woolies fruit and veg.

On our way back, lugging our purchases along with us, I look into someone's garden (I'm nosy like that) and see a bright blue children's Croc taunting me with its fugness. Ewwwww! Crocs, I think they are the most hideous piece of footwear in the known universe (just sayin). I just knew, that this was mos def the photo of the day.

Day 1: Some type of flower

Here is my first image for 365, taken this morning on my walk from home to Waverton train station. I have no idea what they actually are, but I thought they were pretty! I like it when things take you by surprise. I was expecting a boring walk (as per usual) and then the prettyness sprung up in front of me. Smiles all round!
Wonder what tomorrow will bring....

Here we go!

So after deliberating for YEARS over whther to do a 365 photo diary, I finally decided to get to it.

I'm excited to see where it goes and look back in a year's time on everything that happened.

I'm likely to forget/give up, so I am setting monthly goals, hence why the blog url is 365ish!
